Class Overview:

If you are the first to book a class, you can choose the meal we will prepare that day.

Pricing:

Price for one of our 3 regular cooking classes: COP$ 360.000 per person.
Price for the cocktail class: COP$ 330.000 per person
Price for the Combo of Market tour, fruit tasting of exotic Colombian fruits, and cooking class: COP$ 610.000 per person
Price for the market tour: COP$ 180.000 per person
Price for the fruit tasting: COP$ 140.000 per person

Payment is required in order to confirm your reservation. A payment link will be provided upon contact

Openings:
Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner classes with minimum of two participants.
Sunday and public holidays: lunch class only with minimum of three participants.

Times:
Market tour:    9 am – 10 am
Fruit tasting:  10:15 am – 11 am
Lunch class:    11 am – 2 pm
Dinner class:    4 pm – 7 pm
Cocktail class: 5 pm – 7 pm

Program:

1st course: Arepitas rellenas
Thick corn arepas with cicken and/or vegetable stuffing

2nd course: Patacones rellenos
Plantain fritters topped with shrimp and/or tomato-onion salsa

3rd course: Fish in Bijao
Amazonian way of cooking a fish in a big leaf

4th course: Plátano Pícaro
Plantain cooked in panela with Lulo ice cream

Free water included during food preparation, one fruit drink included with the food.

  Vegetable soup with green plantain fritters and chicken

Traditional beef roast with coconut rice

4th course: Enyucado
Cake of cassava, coconut, and cheese

Meal "Perú"

This class can be done vegetarian and vegan on request!

Program:

1st course: Causa
  Mashed potatoes with lime and mild chili paste
stuffed with chicken and avocado

2nd course: Ceviche
  Cured fish with corn and sweet potatoes

3rd course: Lomo Saltado
Sauteed beef, onion and tomatoes
with rice and yellow potato fries

4th course: Picarones
Fried pumpkin-sweet potato dough with molasses

Cocktail class

In our cocktail class, we focus on the preparation of tropical signature cocktails by using Colombian fruits, so you can discover unique flavors. Some of the fruits we use are lulo, passion fruit, and green mango.

As spirits we use are Colombian Rum and Aguardiente as well as a local Apple liquor. Also, Gin and Vodka are used.

Each participant will prepare their own cocktails. We will serve some snacks to pair with the drinks. We will prepare a total of 5 cocktails for about 2 hours and explain the preparation of the snacks.

Upon request, virgin versions of the cocktails can be prepared.

Market tour + Fruit tasting

 We will go the the biggest and most famous market of Cartagena, the Bazurto Market. 

The market is untidy, and has strong odors, but it’s also unique, colourful, vibrant, and generally very interesting.


Only in case of the market tour we provide pickup from your hotel in the neighbourhoods Centro, Getsemaní, and Bocagrande.

 Depending on the hotel location pickup will be between 10 and 35 minutes prior to the Market tour start.


After about 40 minutes exploring the market we head to SkyKitchen, where a fruit tasting of around a dozen exotic fruits from the market has been set up for you. 

You will get in-depth explanations to each of the fruits and their usages.

For a minimum of 4 participants we also offer customized classes.

We try to accommodate everyone with food restrictions and can do all of our dishes in vegetarian, most of them vegan, and provide a gluten-free option. Please always let us know in advance!
