Cooking and Cocktail Classes

Class Overview:

If you are the first to book a class, you can choose the meal we will prepare that day.

Price:
For one of our 3 regular cooking classes: COP$ 230.000 per person.
For the cocktail class: COP$ 180.000 per person
Payment at the end of the class in Colombian Pesos or credit/debit card.

Openings:
Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner classes with minimum of two participants.
Sunday and public holidays: lunch class only with minimum of three participants.

Times:
Lunch class:    11 am – 2 pm
Dinner class:   4 pm – 7 pm
Cocktail class: 5 pm – 7 pm

Meal "Colombia"

This class can be adapted for vegetarian and vegans on request!

Program:

1st course: Arepitas rellenas
Thick corn arepas with cicken and/or vegetable stuffing

2nd course: Patacones rellenos
Plantain fritters topped with shrimp and/or tomato-onion salsa

3rd course: Fish in Bijao
Amazonian way of cooking a fish in a big leaf

4th course: Pie de Coco con Piña
Coconut pineapple pie

Free water included during food preparation, one fruit drink included with the food.

Can be adapted for vegetarians and vegans.
Dishes can be done gluten-free.
Does not contain any nuts (except coconut).
All dishes are lactose-free

Meal "Cartagena"

Program:

1st course: Boronía
  Spread of eggplant and ripe plantain

2nd course: Sopa de Patacones
  Vegetable soup with green plantain fritters and chicken

3rd course: Posta Cartagenera
Traditional beef roast with coconut rice

4th course: Enyucado
Cake of cassava, coconut, and cheese

Meal "Perú"

This class can be done vegetarian and vegan on request!

Program:

1st course: Causa
  Mashed potatoes with lime and mild chili paste
stuffed with chicken and avocado

2nd course: Ceviche
  Cured fish with corn and sweet potatoes

3rd course: Lomo Saltado
Sauteed beef, onion and tomatoes
with rice and yellow potato fries

4th course: Picarones
Fried pumpkin-sweet potato dough with molasses

Cocktail class

In our cocktail class, we focus on the preparation of tropical signature cocktails by using Colombian fruits, so you can discover unique flavors. Some of the fruits we use are lulo, tree tomato, and green mango.

The main spirits we use are Colombian Rum and Aguardiente as well as local specialties like Quinado. Also Gin and Vodka are used.

Each participant will prepare their own cocktails. We will serve some snacks to share while enjoying the drinks. We will prepare a total of 5 cocktails for about 2 hours and explain the preparation of the snacks.

Upon request virgin versions of the cocktails can be prepared.

For a minimum of 4 participants we also offer customized classes.

We try to accommodate everyone with food restrictions and can do all of our dishes in vegetarian, most of them vegan, and provide a gluten-free option. Please always let us know in advance!
